All remaps are focused on smooth, safe power delivery & maintaining the reliability of the vehicle. The maps are developed around our own experiences & with our direct input, with our diagnostic knowledge underlying the specifications to offer what we believe to be a superior product for your vehicle.

Our code developers have a unique & deep insight of the many variables & parameter’s the ECU controls, & there skills in manipulation of this are second to none.
 

Stage 1 – Generic 

In the case of our Stage 1 remaps we use the term generic & we would like to expand on this a little as it seems there is some confusion over to what a generic map actually means. This is not a one map suits all cars, but rather remaps that are developed for the exact ECU hardware/software variant but can be applied without requiring tweaks.

This remap stage will still give decent gains but is aimed more for our mail order service when the vehicle cannot physically visit one of our locations for mapping. It can be applied by sending us your ECU, via our PP100 map switching product, or of course by visiting us.

Example gains on 1.8T

150 –  up to 55bhp/70ftlb

180 –  up to 25bhp/50ftlb

225 –  up to 35bhp/60ftlb

Stage 2 – Modified 

This remap is suitable for both standard & vehicles with mild modification levels, for example induction kits, free flow exhausts etc. By visiting us we can ensure the mapping is optimized to achieve the best gains from the individual vehicle.                                          

It is a more aggressive tune than our Stage 1 & the vehicle must visit us for remapping & our diagnostic checks & review. We will spend longer with the vehicle data logging & will make tweaks where they would be of benefit. 

Example gains on 1.8T

150 –  up to 65bhp/90ftlb

180 –  up to 35bhp/70ftlb

225 –  up to 45bhp/80ftlb

Stage 3 - Full Custom Mapping

This is a fully customized file creation to suit more heavily modified vehicles with more serious modifications like aftermarket turbo's, water injection, cams etc 

Its also suitable for vehicles that have reached the end of the typical modifications list & the owner wants to try to extract the most power and torque from their current mods & have the map tailored uniquely to suit.

We will need the vehicle for up to two days for this service.

Its been proven time and time again how some components can degrade without the owner realizing.

All stages include our diagnostic data logging to ensure your car is healthy and the customer benefits from the reassurance that their pride and joy is running well before & after mapping. Where possible, problems will be rectified or highlighted before they have the potential to be exaggerated with a remap.

In rare circumstances a remap would be turned down if a problem were not immediately curable and considered serious enough to warrant a repair before tuning would commence.
